Well alrighty then... if an Omnivore will eat just about anything, and a Vegetarian sticks mainly to "things without faces..." then what on Earth would a Breatharian eat? The answer to that question is.... drum roll please!
Not a thing! No your eyes have not failed you... there are noted cases throughout known history of many people who have survived, without food or water (and all of them in perfect health I might add). Sustained on nothing more than their breath... what most of them have called the "Breath of God" or "Prana" the "Universal Life Force Energy". Cases have ranged from 26 years Theresa Neumann of Germany... to over 50 years Giri Malla of India, and of course, perhaps the most famous Breatharian Babaji whom is said to reside in the Himalayan Mountain Range, having lived many hundreds of years over which time he has been witnessed by hundreds of people of every nation.
Many other Yogis of India have also been noted breatharians.
Some accounts would even have us believe that whole societies of people in the distant past of Earth have subsisted solely on the Prana Force. That as we "de-volved" through the ages (from the Golden Age to the present Iron Age) that we took upon ourselves the habit of eating food and the balancing of nutrients in order to sustain the physical form... this theory would have us believe that it is because we do not balance the nutrients perfectly that we grow ill and die in time. This same theory purports that left to the divine nature, that is if we but left the balancing of nutrients to our own highest self, that we would no longer ever experience illness... and quite possibly would then also not suffer transition through death... but rather simply ascend when the time comes.
(Having studied the value of "food" in our current dietary practices... I must say that I understand why we find it so difficult to "balance" or even "FIND" nutrient value on which to exist!)
Now the plot of this particular ramble thickens...
There are some total of 200 known and verified breatharians existing on the planet today... and I am certain countless numbers of others who are practicing unknown to science. One known breatharian is Jasmuheen. A US citizen currently living in Australia, Jasmuheen is the author of many books including "Living On Light" and
"In Resonance"... (these books are available in the US and Europe.)

Both of these volumes are veritable "How To Guides" on becoming breatharian. And while I make no suggestions myself as to what a person should do, I do believe that breatharianism is quite possible, that it has been achieved by many in the past and that perhaps it might be the way we will all live in the distant future. I also believe unequivocally that the human mind is the strongest force available to mankind, and that it is at it's very best when challenged... so if you can not comprehend this concept in any way, you might do yourself the favor of reading one or both of these volumes... they are quite thought provoking and you might even find they provide quite an expansive opportunity for your thought processes!
As for myself, I may not want to live forever, but I would like to spend my time "in body" in good health, so I explore this concept with an open mind.
I would like to close this editorial with a brilliant thought which is contributed to Du Bos:
"The important thing is this: to be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are, for what we could become!"
At Heaven on Earth we are dedicated to helping you create a radiant and healthful lifestyle. I wish you good health today and always!
Be ever mindful,
